PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, in which wasteful image formation is precluded and the durability is enhanced. SOLUTION: An image forming device is structured so that a recording medium a transported at a certain timing toward an intermediate transcription element 11 by register rollers 18A, 18B and the image of the intermediate transcription element 11 is transcribed on the recording medium, wherein a rotational position sensing means 43 is furnished to sense the rotation of the element 11. Using the sensing signal given by the sensing means 43 as the starting point, control for the points of time is conducted, i.e., the starting time of image formation on the element 11 and the timing of transporting the recording medium to the element 11 by driving the register rollers 18A, 18B. |
