Fuel economizer, for use with engines running on gasoline or gas oil, consists of an outer plastic tube (1) containing a one-piece plastic cylinder (2) forming a fuel reservoir with ten times the capacity of an equivalent length of fuel line. The cylinder has lengthwise channels in its outer surface to receive BM 84.222 permanent ferrite magnets (3) able to operate at up to 250 deg C without loss of efficiency. The magnets measure 50 x 9 x 5 mm, and the economizer contains eight magnets for a 100 mm length and 12 for 150 mm. The plastic cylinder is fitted with two threaded connectors (4) for 6 or 8 mm fuel lines.
