摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile working robot which automatically carries out the work while repeating its reciprocating motions such as an automatic floor cleaner and an automatic floor finishing device and which performs a turn operation without generating much friction between its wheels and a floor in a prescribed turn width and turn angle. SOLUTION: This mobile working robot is provided with: a driving means and steering means constituted of driving wheels 2R and 2L; driving motors 3R and 3L, and a slave wheel 4 for moving a body 1; a traveling control means 21 for controlling the traveling of the body by controlling the driving means and steering means; moving distance measuring means 3R' and 3L' for measuring the traveling distance of the body; and a working means for performing a cleaning work or the like. The traveling control means 21 is provided with an locus calculating means 32 for calculating the traveling orbit of the body based on the outputs of the moving distance measuring means 3R' and 3L' and a two step turn means 31 for inverting the direction of the body by two step operations on the basis of the output of the locus calculating means.
