PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming jig for a flat shielded wire and a manufacturing method of a flat shielded wire, using the jig which can prevent the side end part of a shielding tape from turning up and can prevent overlapping defects at its both side end parts. SOLUTION: With the forming jig 11 for the flat shielded wire being provided with openings 12, 13 which pass through insulated wires 2, 3 and a drain wire 4 arrayed in parallel and a shielding tape 5 added to them longitudinally, and wrapping up the insulated wires 2, 3 and the drain wire 4 by forming the shielding tape 5, the openings 12, 13 are covered with a pair of facing overhangs 12a, 12b so that a pair of face overhangs 13a, 13b, and the heights of the openings 12, 13 at the tips of the pairs of overhangs 12a, 12b and 13a, 13b are deviated.
