PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paint color sample cards which peculiarize the differences in the color development characteristics of analogous primary colors so as to enable not only a skilled person but an ordinary person to relatively easily discriminate the colors and a paint color sample book formed by putting together a plurality of the paint color sample cards to one. SOLUTION: The paint color sample card containing a substrate; a paint film of black paint applied onto the substrate; the black mixed first paint film of a paint mixture composed of primary color paint and black paint or a black mixed second paint film of the paint mixture composed of the primary color paint, the black paint and lustrous pigment-containing paint. Further, the card preferably includes the paint film of the paint mixture composed of the primary color paint and the white paint and the paint film of the paint mixture composed of the primary color paint and the lustrous pigment-containing paint.
