PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and to expedite the adjustment of an optical pickup to perform recording/reproduction of different types of optical disks. SOLUTION: In an adjusting optical disk 1, a first signal recording layer 5 having the same physical format as CD and a second signal recording layer 7 having the same physical format as DVD are provided, EFM modified data is concentrically recorded on each layer 5, 7, and the recording regions 8, 9 of each layer are arranged so as to be superimposed. By using this optical disk 1, the adjustment of the optical pickup 11 in reproducing CD and DVD can be carried out continuously without changing the adjusting optical disks. |
