PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP picture made into high definition without lowering the light emitting efficiency of a PDP. SOLUTION: In the display panel, with which three cells of mutually different light emitting colors are arrayed in the shape of matrix, the cell having the first light emitting color is horizontally located at the interval of one line, and one line of cells having the second light emitting color and one line of cells having the third light emitting color are alternately located on a line held between the cells having the first light emitting color.
