CONNECTOR FOR INDEPENDENT RING TYPE COAXIAL CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an independent ring type coaxial cable easily detachable from the coaxial cable and not needing a flaring process in an outer conductor. SOLUTION: The connector for the independent ring type coaxial cable has a ring like clamp positioned on a surface of a tip portion of the outer conductor and pressed in an axial direction of the cable by a tip portion of a clamp pressing means. The clamp is provided with an annular depression part receiving a ridge part of the outer conductor, and a pair of protruding parts adapted to trough parts of the outer conductor. An outer conductor pressing face having a tapered curved surface is formed in an outer side of one of the protruding parts, and a conical outer conductor pressing protruding part cooperating with the outer conductor pressing face of the clamp is formed in a tip center part of a hanging wall face of a thick part radially protruding toward a center of a connector body.
