At least one fluid inlet (27) is placed at the level of the axis of rotation of the rotating arm and a number of fluid outlets (33), each connected to a sub-assembly of nozzles (20), are each connected to the fluid inlet as a function of the angle of rotation of the rotating arm. The rotating arm has a scraper. The device can have a number of independently operated fluid inlets. A central axis (26) fixed to the vessel contains at least one channel opening towards the outside of the vessel to form a fluid inlet (27) and a perforated external face at least at one longitudinal level, with passages (28) connecting to the fluid inlet. An assembly of rings (30) are mounted around the central axis so they can rotate. Each ring has at least one fluid outlet (33) connected to a sub-assembly of nozzles (20) on its external face and at least one hollow section over at least part of its internal circumference communicating with the fluid outlet(s). The rings are mounted inside the body of the rotating arm carrying the scraper and means of holding (40, 46) keep the rings in place relative to each other and to the central axis. Some of the nozzles are orientated to spray in the direction of displacement of the rotating arm and some to spray the zones of the arms they are in. Several arms are spaced angularly about the axis of rotation. ALSO CLAIMED is a filter vessel containing such a system, with supplementary nozzles in the wall of the vessel orientated towards its interior. These have their own fluid supply system or are connected to a supplementary channel in the central axis.
