PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of alternately executing payout of commodity from a plurality of commodity columns set as a group by simple control without increasing memory capacity for sales management. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is provided with a group setting means to group the commodity columns by very brand of commodity, to sort pieces of column data to specify the respective commodity columns by every group and to register them in a memory and a sale control means to execute the payout of the commodity by specifying the commodity column according to alternatively specified column data among the plurality of pieces of column data registered in the memory of a group associated with the brand of commodity specified by selective operations of a commodity selection button and to alternatively specify the column data to specify a commodity column from which the commodity is paid out next when the commodity is paid out from the commodity column.
