A structure for arranging an extension mat of automobile in which an extension mat(13)substantially continuous to a baggage room mat(11)being laid on the floor(1b)of a rear baggage room(3)on the back face of seatbacks(6Lb,6Rb)while tilting forward to overlap seat cushions(6Lc,6Rc).The extension mat(13)is fixed removably to the seatbacks(6Lb,6Rb)and shaped to cover the floor(1a)of a crew room(2)across the front foot space from the lower part of the seat cushions(6Lc,6Rc).When a baggage possibly making dirt the floor(1a)of the crew room(2)is placed thereon,the floor can be protected against becoming dirty by utilizing the extension mat(13)on the back face of the seat cushions(6Lc,6Rc)of rear seat(6)rationally.
