<p>The invention concerns a system for heating a motor vehicle passenger compartment comprising a housing (10) delimiting a conduit (12) of air to be heated, an air-liquid heat exchanger (14) mounted in the conduit and an electric heating device (16) likewise mounted in the conduit, downstream of the heat exchanger. The electric heating device (16) is mounted in the conduit (12) so as to be traversed, in electric heating mode, by practically the entire air flow circulating in the conduit, while limiting to not more than 5 % the ventilating pressure drop caused by the presence of the electric heating device in the conduit.</p> |
