Engine interior lighting (1) fits anywhere under an engine's bonnet (15). Existing ventilation slots in the bonnet are not covered over. The rear side (7) of a casing has integrated fastening magnets (8) and a heat-resistant bur strip or heat-resistant adhesive strip (9). Cable clips (12) have magnetic holders on the rear side of the housing and flexible clip mechanisms (11) on the front side. A storage battery case has exchangeable storage batteries.
