<p>A method and an apparatus for producing a Keystone type superconducting formed strand, in which the side face of formed strands on the thinner side touches a roll ahead of the side face on the thicker side when a wire formed by stranding a large number of superconducting wires is formed using the roll. A roll abutting against the side face of the formed strands on the thicker side has a smaller diameter than that of a roll abutting against the side face on the thinner side. Furthermore, a roll shaft abutting against the side face of formed strands on the thicker side is located in the rear of a roll shaft abutting against the side face on the thinner side.</p> |
