PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-domain type liquid crystal display of vertical alignment mode which can be manufactured without highly accurately aligning an array substrate and a counter substrate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 to be the multi-domain type liquid crystal device of vertical alignment mode is characterized in that a plurality of slits 20 are provided at a common electrode 16 in such a manner that even when the counter substrate 3 is transferred in parallel in an optional direction and by an optional distance relatively to the array substrate 2, two or more slits of the plurality of slits 20 always exist in the respective areas opposed to a plurality of pixel electrodes 10 of the common electrode 16. |
