PURPOSE: A device and a method for scattering spacers are provided to smoothly support spacers by separating the spacers with an automatic vibration element, thereby uniformly maintaining the density of the spacers. CONSTITUTION: A spacer scattering device includes a spacer scattering part for scattering spacers for keeping a cell gap of a liquid crystal cell by a predetermined interval onto a substrate, a rotation supply part formed of first to third rollers and first to third gears for pushing and lifting the spacers by a predetermined rotation motion to supply the spacers to the spacer scattering part, and a vibration part(B) provided to one of the gears(42a,44a,46a) and formed of a lever(54), an elastic element(58) and a lever supporting die(56) for periodically vibrating the rotation supply part for separating the spacers adsorbed to the rotation supply part. |
