PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming material as well as the material of lithographic printing plate, having no deterioration in the strength of an image and a plate wear, and capable of obtaining a stable printing quality by stably supplying dampening water, and a manufacturing method of a lithographic printing plate employing the material. SOLUTION: In the image forming material formed by providing on a substrate an image forming layer containing at least one kind of thermally fusible polymer grain, the polymer grain is a polymer latex obtained by polymerizing at least two kinds or more of monomers of (1) a polymer latex containing an active methylene group, (2) a core shell latex whose glass transition temperature (Tg) of a shell constituent is 50-120 deg.C, (3) a composite polymeric fine particles consisting of inorganic fine particles and a hydrophobic polymerized compound, and (4) a crosslinking monomer. |
