PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display having improved brightness and brightness uniformity. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display has a liquid crystal module 10, an optical guide module 20 is provide on the top part of the liquid crystal module 10, and the optical guide module 20 has an optical guide plate 21. The optical guide plate 21 has optical guide grooves 22 and a foldingly emitting part 23. The foldingly emitting part 23 has an optical guide bar 24, and the optical guide bar 24 has a light emitting surface 241 and a reflection surface 242. The reflection surface 242 has reflection grooves 243. The optical guide bar 24 is provided with a reflection cover 25 in the vicinity of the reflection surface 242. A light source 26 is provided at both ends of the optical guide bar 24. Light is uniformized with a curved surface structure of the light emitting surface 241 to reduce scattering. Since the folding emitting part 23 makes reflected light and directly emitted light foldingly emitted to converge on the optical guide plate 21, light utilization factor is improved. |
