<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a large number of the same arrays by preparing the arrays by slicing a bundle of capillaries or rods each containing a specific reactant. SOLUTION: The array includes a plurality of cells each with a plurality of fibers in which object substances selected from a microorganism, ligand, nucleotide, antibody, antigen, protein, peptide, carbohydrate, polysaccharide, receptor, medicine target, plant or animal cell, organelle, bacteria, pathogen, antibiotic, medicine, toxicant, natural product, test compound, and groups formed of their fractions are immobilized to at least part of the inside or onto the surface. A combined assay includes both a step for detecting the presence or absence of the bonding between an analyte and each cell in the array to which the object substances are immobilized under condition that the analyte can be bonded with the object substances in the cell and a step for specifying the presence or absence of the analyte on the basis of the detected bonding in a predetermined cell included in the array.</p> |
