PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a herbicide for paddy field highly safe to paddy rice, having high herbicidal effect on a wide range of weeds including annual weeds and perennial weeds and on acetolactate synthase(ALS) inhibitory-type herbicide- resistant weeds as well. SOLUTION: The objective herbicide composition for paddy field is characterized by including as an active ingredient 3-[1-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-1- methylethyl]-3,4-dihydro-6-methyl-5-phenyl-2H-1,3-oxazin-4-one (general name: oxadichlomefon) and further, as the other active ingredient(s), at least one compound selected from the compound group consisting of 1-[2-(cyclopropylcarbonyl)phenylsulfamoyl]-3-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2 -yl)urea (general name: cyclosulfamuron), clomeprop, benzofenap, oxadiazon and oxadiargyl.
