PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply device of a stationary engine capable of preventing excessive supply of an engine oil to an engine side even when the engine oil is excessively supplied to a sub tank 14 due to any inconvenience. SOLUTION: A float 15 is provided in the sub tank 14, an excessive supply preventive lid 17 for shutting off the communication by closing a communication passage 16 is provided, and the float 15 and the excessive supply preventive lid 17 are connected to each other via a wire 18 so that the excessive supply preventive lid 17 is closed to shut off the communication when the float 15 reaches the predetermined liquid level in an interlocking manner with the engine oil level. Thus, even when the engine oil is excessively supplied to the sub tank 14 due to any inconvenience, the float 15 is afloat, the communication passage 16 is closed by the excessive supply preventive lid 17 turned thereby, communication between the sub tank 14 and the engine side is shut off to prevent excessive supply of the engine oil, and as a result, engine troubles in the oil compression, etc., is prevented.
