COLORED TITANATED MICA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored titanated mica having excellent dichroism and transmission light with high chroma and useful as a powdery cosmetic for the control of the skin color to make the dark spot of the skin inconspicuous. SOLUTION: Titanated mica particle is coated with fine iron oxide powder having an average particle diameter of 60-150 nm. The product is used as a skin color controlling agent for making the dark spot of the skin inconspicuous (a substance having a transmission interference color complimentary to the color of the skin to be controlled). The transmitted interference color is not weakened with the coloring agent because the product has small absorption of light with the surface iron oxide.
