PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail that functions as a handhold when a person brings its body nearer to the handrail or stands up, and to provide a bathroom equipped with the handrail. SOLUTION: The handrail is provided with a pair of left and right vertical grip sections 2 and 2 and a horizontal grip section 3 which is a connecting member connecting the grip sections 2 and 2 to each other, and the handrail is fixed on the surface of a sidewall 43 of the bathroom 4. One of the vertical grips 2 and 2 is positioned closer to the sidewall 43 side than the other grip. |
