<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of post for handrail which can make the newel post or slave post of a handrail to stably and firmly self-stand and with which the workability of the connecting work of the post can be improved, because the connecting work can be carried out easily without requiring special skills, and the value as a structure will not be impaired, because hardware is not exposed to the outside. SOLUTION: A column support body 2 fixed to a floor bard, etc., is constituted of a base plate section 2A, cylindrical inserting sections 2B, and a plurality of tapped holes 2C, 2C, etc., made through the base plate section 2A. On the connecting header 4A of a newel post body 4, a fitting and connecting section 5 in which the column supporting body 2 is completely fit is formed. The section 5 is constituted of a circular-recessed section 5A in which the base plate section 2A of the supporting body 2 is fitted and cylindrical groove sections 5B into which the cylindrical inserting sections 2B are inserted. Fixing bolts 6, 6, are screwed in the newel post body 4 from the surface there of so that the bolts 6 reach the cylindrical inserting sections 2B.</p> |
