PURPOSE: A rotary storage type kimchi refrigerator is provided to allow users to easily extract kimchi and foodstuff from the storage compartment of kimchi refrigerator, while minimizing loss of cooling air during extraction. CONSTITUTION: A rotary storage type kimchi refrigerator comprises a casing(10); a storage compartment(30) arranged within the casing; a door(20) arranged at the casing, and which opens/shuts the storage compartment; a lamp(11) arranged in the upper portion of the storage compartment, and which is turned on/off by the opening/shutting operation of the door; a freezing unit arranged in the lower portion of the storage compartment, and which maintains the storage compartment at a refrigerating state; a power transmission shaft(40) arranged in the storage compartment in such a manner that the power transmission shaft is rotatable; a plurality of fixing bars(50) fixed at the power transmission shaft and extended from the power transmission shaft in a radial direction; a rotating force transmission unit for transmitting rotating force to the power transmission shaft; and a control unit(200) for permitting a storage container(70) to rotate and stop at a predetermined position by controlling the rotating force transmission unit.
