<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA microarray data correcting method. SOLUTION: The DNA microarray data correcting method for examining the difference between the gene expression levels of two types of samples on every gene through the use of a DNA microarray includes (A) a process for obtaining the average amounts of expression for every gene on the two types of samples by averaging measurement data for every gene on the two types of samples obtained from the DNA microarray, (B) a process for obtaining the difference between the amounts of expression for every gene on the two types of samples by obtaining differences for every gene from the measurement data on the two types of samples obtained form the DNA microarray, (C) a process for obtaining a simultaneous distribution with the average amounts of expression obtained in the process (A) and the difference between the amounts of expression obtained in the process (B) as random variables, and (D) a process for converting the simultaneous distribution obtained in the process (C) into a previously determined distribution or a statistically expected distribution.</p> |
