PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer capable of stably printing in a closed type squeegee head. SOLUTION: The screen printer prints a paste on a base 3 via pattern holes by moving a closed type squeegee head on a mask plate 12. The printer comprises a squeegee unit 36 for moving the squeegee head 13 having opposed two slide contact members 37A, 37B slidably contacted on a surface of the mask plate 12 to drive a cylinder 43 to rotatably displace a movable base 41 around a rotary hinge 42 to set a load distribution so that a printing pressure load of a cylinder 22 becomes larger at that of the member 37A disposed at a rear side with respect to a squeezing direction than that of the member 37B. Thus, an unevenness of the load of the side contributing to scraping of a cream solder is prevented, and hence stable printing can be executed.
