<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester film for metal plate lamination, having excellent properties for heat lamination with a metal plate, capable of providing a laminated metal plate having excellent processability to form a can, especially such as drawing and ironing, and also having excellent impact resistance and excellent retention of taste and flavor, and suitably utilized for the inner surface of a film-laminated metal can. SOLUTION: This polyester film comprises a polyester (A) consisting of PBT or consisting essentially of the PBT, and a polyester (B) consisting of PET or consisting essentially of the PET. The contents of the polyester (A) is 80-40 wt.% and the contents of the polyester (B) is 20-60 wt.%. The polyester film has the melting point of the polyester (A) at 200-223 deg.C, and the melting point of the polyester (B) at 230-256 deg.C. The peak temperature of the crystallization from an amorphous state measured while raising the temperature is present within the range of 60-100 deg.C. The contents of the cyclic dimmer of butylenes terephthalate is <=0.2 wt.%.</p> |
