COUNTERFEIT MONEY DISCRIMINATOR

PURPOSE: A counterfeit money discriminator is provided to exactly and easily discriminate a paper money and have a harmless feature to a human body. CONSTITUTION: A paper money is inserted into an insertion portion(20). An infrared rays generator(30) irradiates an infrared rays to the insertion portion(20). An ultraviolet rays generator(40) irradiates an ultraviolet rays to the insertion portion(20). A CCD camera(50) photographs a paper money which is inserted into the insertion portion(20). The first filter(55) permeates the infrared rays among incident rays. The second filter(56) intercepts the ultraviolet rays among the incident rays. A driver(60) selectively locates one of the first and second filters(55,56) in a front direction of the CCD camera(50). A display device(70) displays an image photographed by the CCD camera(50).
