PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cleaning sheet which has good initial of frothing, excels in detergency and massaging effect, causes easily unbreakable froth, and retentive froth, no feeling of stiffness and no irritation in use, excels in a feeling of moistness after use, reduces skin darkishness, and enhances skin luster and elasticity. SOLUTION: The cleaning sheet is obtained by coating or impregnating (c) a porous nonwoven fabric, a sheet of handmade Japanese paper, a porous film, an open-cell foamed sheet or a knitted cloth sheet with a cleaning agent comprising (a) >=40 mass% surface active agent and (b) zinc oxide, silica, titanium oxide, hydrosulfates, synthetic aluminum silicate, zeolite, polyurethane, kaolin, aluminum magnesium silicate, diatomaceous earth, talc, crystalline cellulose, or the like, as the powder component, and rendering the resulting product in a substantially dried state.
