APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VISIBLE DYE PENETRANT TESTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive apparatus and method for visible dye penetrant testing in which flaws of piping inner faces can be surely detected and inspected. SOLUTION: There is provided the apparatus for visible dye penetrant testing which is equipped with at least one of a penetrant/cleaning liquid application means 11 as a penetrant application means equipped with a single foam sponge 80 into which the penetrant is impregnated and which can be pressed to the piping inner face, a penetrant/cleaning liquid application means 11 as a cleaning liquid application means equipped with a belt-shaped object into which the cleaning liquid is impregnated and which can be freely taken up and pressed to the piping inner face, and a liquid developer application means equipped with a spray nozzle having an intermittent mechanism capable of intermittently spraying a liquid developer by mixing the developer with compressed air.
