PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording film, the ink accepting layer of which does not easily peel off even when being clamped on a shear casten or the like and to which flatting properties on the film viewer are given and a medical image forming method using the same. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an ink jet recording support is to heat treat the transparent support under a temperature ranging from the glass transition point Tg ( deg.C) of the support to Tg-40 ( deg.C) for one min to 1,500 hr under the condition that the transparent support is wound about a winding core having the outer diameter ranging from 100 to 1,000 nm.
