PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, accurate ultrasonic gas meter. SOLUTION: An introduction section 61 comprising a small-diameter cylindrical member 61a and a large-diameter cylindrical member 61b that is arranged concentrically so that the small-diameter cylindrical member 61a is surrounded is provided at the inlet side of a measurement pipeline 6. Gas that flows in from the end face side of the introduction section 61 is nearly equally divided and is allowed to flow to a flow-dividing path 61c from an outlet 61d, and is merged immediately before reaching the detection region section of the measurement pipeline 6, thus stabilizing the flow of gas.
