PURPOSE:To control cooling strain of hot rolled steel plate caused by rapid cooling at a minimum by means of cooling the steel plate at the upper surface with laminar-flowing water, and at the under surface with sprayed water, the amount of water being in a specific ratio of the amount of sprayed water at under surface to the amount of laminar-flowing water, and by means of specifying the laminar-flow header pressure. |
