PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device and a machining device which can machine a three-dimensional free-form face inexpensively and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this grinding device 10, its central shaft 11 is mounted to the machining device 1, and a plurality of tools 15 are arranged radially around the central shaft 11. Each of the tools 15 is mounted to a tool shaft 14, and tool gears 13 fixed to the tool shaft 14 are washed with central shaft gears 12 mounted to central shaft 11 and inner gears 19 formed on the inner face of a tool flange 17. When the central shat 11 is rotated, the tool shaft gears 13 rotate and revolve around the central shaft 11, and the tools 15 rotate and revolve around the central shaft 11 to grind a workpiece to be pressed onto the tool 15. Thus, by mounting on the general-purpose machining device 1, a three-dimensional free-form face of a workpiece such as a die can be ground and machined easily and efficiently with high accuracy.
