SURGICAL HELICAL FASTENER WITH APPLICATOR

An applicator for attaching fasteners to body tissue comprising a distal portion having an elongate outer tube, a connecting end and a terminal end. There is a proximal portion having a handle and an actuator. The proximal portion is attached to the connecting end of the distal portion. A rotator is contained in the outer tube and the rotator is adapted to receive a plurality of fasteners and to cooperate with the actuator. A nose piece attached to the terminal end is provided for threading and ejecting the fasteners out of the terminal end.
