PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the backscattering X-ray of an X-ray detector and to radiate internally generated heat of the X-ray detector without installing a large cooling means. SOLUTION: This X-ray imaging device is provided with an X-ray tube 1 for irradiating a patient with X-rays, a flat panel type X-ray detector 2 arranged opposing the X-ray tube 1 for detecting the transmitted X-rays of the patient, and a lead cover part 3 which is fitted so as to cover the opposing face of the detector 2 to shield the rear X-rays of the detector 2 and which is provided with holes for radiating heat generated by the detector 2.
