<p>The invention relates to a method for producing Bis(4hydroxyaryl)alkanes of high purity from adducts of Bis(4hydroxyaryl)alkanes and aromatic hydroxy compounds which are obtained by means of acidcatalysed conversion of the aromatic hydroxy compounds with ketones. After crystallisation, the adduct crystals resulting from the process are separated from the mother liquor by means of continuous filtration from the suspension in a rotating vacuum drum filter containing several filter cells and are subsequently washed and drawn off from the washing liquid by suction.</p> |
