PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing bar machine which is safely and efficiently operated. SOLUTION: The reinforcing bar machine comprises a stopper for positioning the cutting position by butting a reinforcing bar, a reinforcing bar cutter A for cutting the reinforcing bar positioned at the cutting position, a reinforcing bar loading part C for loading the cut reinforcing bar 2, and a discharging device 7 for discharging the cut reinforcing bar in the radial direction. The reinforcing bar treating machine further comprises a stopper moving device 6 by constituting the reinforcing bar loading part is formed by a loading and carrying face of a reinforcing bar carrier 4 capable of loading and carrying the cut reinforcing bar in the direction separate from the reinforcing bar cutter along the longitudinal direction, and reciprocally moving the stopper between the top position for cut-positioning and the stop position for discharge-positioning more separate from the reinforcing bar cutting position than the stop position for cut-positioning, and a control device D for controlling the operation of the reinforcing bar carrier and a stopper moving device so that the cut reinforcing bar is butted to the stopper at the stop position for discharge-positioning and the discharge position is determined.
