FIELD: artillery ammunition. SUBSTANCE: shell of fragmentation-demolition type comprises body with belts filled with explosives and fuze. Part of body behind belts is conical with angle of 6-10 degrees. Hollow truncated cone with same angle and through holes in side wall with total area amounting to 10-20% of area of side surface of truncated cone is joined to it. Total length of truncated cone and conical part of body behind belts is 0.8-1.0 caliber of shell. EFFECT: extended range of shell, reduced effect of meteorological factors on dispersion. 2 cl, 1 dwg
