PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for tufted carpets having satisfactory resilience and cushioning properties, showing good adhesion to floor faces with high safety because of excellent skidproofness. SOLUTION: A fibrous ground fabric made of a thermoplastic resin is used as the base fabric, a fiber web made of a thermoplastic resin is laminated on the back face of the base fabric, then a foam sheet of a thermoplastic resin is laminated on the fiber web side and the skidproof layer made of polyolefin resin of >=0.5 friction coefficient is laminated on the lower surface of the laminated body.
