PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a core-sheath conjugated type electroconductive fiber which has a stable specific resistance value to change in temperature and humidity in a long-term use and with which a stable and excellent image can be obtained without causing a dispersion of specific resistance value between fibers when used as a brush for contact charging. SOLUTION: This core-sheath conjugated type electroconductive fiber contains electroconductive fine particles in a sheath part and the ratio (ρb/ρa) of specific resistance values ρb and ρa before and after hot-water treatment of <=10<2> .
