PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube which has improved image contrast and purity drift characteristic by absorbing heat by collision of an electronic beam to a shadow mask efficiently. SOLUTION: The color cathode-ray tube has a panel which a fluorescence face and a reflective film are formed in the inside, and it is constituted with forming a high heat-absorption thin film, comprising carbon substantially, by sputtering on the above reflective film.
