PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up a printing process by at least print-outputting even if at least one recoding material is missed, when receiving a color image and also by decoding with one color component. SOLUTION: It is decided whether the inks for color components of CMYK are present, when there is a color image facsimile reception (S1002). If one ink is determined to be absent, a variable component- num is substituted with 1 to provide a single decoding object. Thus, the process of step S1008 is performed only once, for decoding for one color component to print with a monochrome ink (the ink is decided as being present).
