PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal vibrator further improved in reductions in size and thickness by thinning a thickness of an overall package while a mechanical strength or the like is held as an electronic component package. SOLUTION: The small-sized electronic component comprises a substrate 10 coated on a surface of a metal plate with a non-conductive material, a crystal piece 17 mounted on the substrate 10, an upper plate 20 fixed to the substrate 10 so as to cover the crystal piece 17, and a spherical spacer 22 interposed between the upper plate 20 and the substrate 10.
