PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of easily controlling a pressure and a flow rate of fuel delivered from a pressurization chamber in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A fuel intake passage 30 is formed in a pump housing 22 of a fuel injection pump 20. The fuel intake passage 30 supplies the fuel to the fuel pressurization chamber 28. The fuel intake passage 30 branches at a metering valve 40 side of a check valve 31, and a branched communication passage 80 communicates with a storage chamber 29. When the fuel is pressurized and the pressure of the fuel in the fuel intake passage 30 rises after the check valve 31 is closed, the fuel in the fuel intake passage 30 flows into the storage chamber 20 through the communication passage 80. Therefore, the pressure of the fuel in the fuel intake passage 30 rises, and the fuel is prevented from flowing into the fuel pressurization chamber 28 after closing the check valve 31. The pressure and the flow rate of the fuel can be accurately controlled. The communication passage 80 is formed in the pump housing 22, and the fuel injection device 10 is a simple structure. |
