PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape substrate having nearly same tensile strength, impact resistance and following property as those of a filament- reinforced adhesive tape and an adhesive tape using the substrate. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape 7 is prepared by providing a tacky agent layer 5 on either one surface of an adhesive tape substrate 6 obtained by laminating a film 2 to a film 4 with an adhesive layer 3 containing a heat- expandable microcapsule and providing a releasing agent layer 1 on a surface on the opposite side to the surface on which the tacky agent 5 of the adhesive tape substrate 6 is provided.
