The machine for packaging animals has a conveyor belt (3) and the boxes are given a relative displacement for positioning the free end (3a) of the belt in the opening of a respective box. The conveyor belt has a holder (4) for loading which is controlled as a function of the distance travelled by the belt. A processor receives distance traveled signals from a sensor (5) to control the loader.
