PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute printing on the same paper according to automatic variable magnification, when reduced layout printing is set in a PDL job with image sizes coexisting. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with an image size capture means 111 for acquiring the size of an image to be printed (input image size), a variable magnification means 802 for executing the variable magnification of the image data, a storage means 116 for storing a plurality of images, a layout deciding means 135 for deciding the layout of those images stored in the storage means 116, and an automatic magnification deciding means 111 for deciding proper printing magnification, according to the layout decided by the layout deciding means 135. Then, the variable magnification is executed by the variable magnification means 802, at a magnification decided by the automatic magnification deciding means 111, and the image data are printed based on the layout decided by the layout deciding means 135. |
