<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor having high stability in control even when carbon dioxide is used as a refrigerant. SOLUTION: In this variable displacement compressor which is provided with a thrust flange 40 fixed to a shaft 5 and integrally rotated with the shaft 5, and a swash plate 10 tiltably mounted on the shaft 5, connected to the thrust flange 40 through a link mechanism 41, and integrally rotated in accompany with the rotation of the thrust flange 40, and wherein a tilt angle of the swash plate 10 is changed in accordance with the change of a pressure of a crank chamber 8 accommodating the swash plate 10, whereby the stroke of a piston 7 connected to the swash plate 10 is changed, a radius of curvature of a center line 44a of a circular arc-shaped guide groove 44 formed on a projecting part 46 of the thrust flange 40 is kept constant, and the link mechanism 41 is formed by engaging a link pin 11 mounted on the swash plate 10 with the guide groove 44.</p> |
